ericobrave
Another simple one - I am rebuilding 110 200 tdi 1991 onto Richards chassis and am just refitting the bulkhead. When I removed ti there was foam-like stuff filling the gaps at the bottom and around the steering column hole etc.- this was ruined as I scraped it off and cleaned up. What do I use to fill the gaps and where do I get it please?
Eightpot
If you mean the foam strips between the footwell and outrigger, then I wouldn't bother replacing it as it's a water/mud trap and helps rot the floor out.
ericobrave
The floor was quite rotted at the base of the bulkhead where they meet - I have had to replace large chunks of it so thats probably why! Thanks for that
