oneandtwo Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 I want to remove a couple of defender sunroofs, one is the current type with rotating knob, the other is the 200tdi type pop up one. Any pointers before I do it? How does the inner velvet finishing piece come off? I am going to refit them into different undamaged roofs - do I need new seals for them? western Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 the internal trim finisher on mine [lift handle type] pulls away from the frame, careful prise it from the frame.the later round handle the strip around the inside just pulls out of the frame IIRC.
