what do you mean by

using the full td5 wire harness

ijust the instrument pack harness or a complete Td5 dash/chassis harness, ?

if just instrument pack harness, all the info you need to make it all work is in http://www.retroanac...a-200tdi300tdi/

my 110 has a td5 instrument pack & it went in with no major problems. I just connected the existing dash harness to the instrument pack, no need to touch any no related wiring.

i used the complete td5 dash wire harness engine and chassis harnesses

i have only done the MOD FOR TEMP ONLY

for 200 tdi

the problem i think i have is the dash GREY MULTI PLUG where the green/blue temp wire

goes and comes out the other end is live and i cannot find it in the loom going to engine

the temp wires at engine side temp sender are pink/black and pink/grreen origanal ??? from td5 loom

i think i have traced the blue green wire at the multiplug where the ecu used to be under the

drivers front seat td5

hope this makes better sense

mike

Hi Mike

Don't bother tracing the wires in the looms.

If I've understood you correctly you have modified the dash/clocks wiring as per retroanaconda's guide, if this is right then run a wire direct from the back of the dash (green/blue wire) straight to the temp sender on the engine.

In the td5 loom the temp signal goes via the ecu under the seat but no need to use these wires.
