carlosbeldia
I have kind of a rattling coming from my hand brake. In a stand still making the rear cardan rotates, there is a really annoying noise coming from it. How can I adjust it? to eliminate it I must turn it to the left or to the right? eds
it is an easy worthwhile job to strip the handbrake and service the expanders and adjusters. Needs doing periodically. IIRC clockwise does things up.
western
put chocks each side of the tyres, hand brake off, screw the transmission brake adjuster square end in, as far as it will go, then back off 2 clicks, you should feel these rather than hear them, works out about 1/2 a turn out, that should cure any slack.
