nickwilliams
It surely cant be two faulty ignition switches? I think you've reached the point where you need to check that!
bleyseng
I am determined to find the cause of this fault. I have read so many posts about other owners who have this problem and yet none of the posts end in an explanation of the cause of the fault or how it was fixed. If i ever find the fault im going to document how it was corrected.
Waterman
Hello everyone I am new to being a defender owner. I have a very nice defender 90 td5 but now I have a problem. This morning I did notice that my heater fan and radio were not working. Then when I shut off the ignition the engine kept running. Also the dash instruments stayed live and the battery and oil icons remain illuminated. In the end I put it in to gear and bumped it to stall the engine. The dash instruments stayed live. I then pulled all wires off the ignition switch but the dials stayed live. I reconnected the ignition and tried starting but nothing happens. What is going on ? Have I a big electrical problem ?
