Spearos
Quick question, the radiator on an early 90/110 V8 appears to be the same as the radiator fitted to the 2.5d and 2.5TD (without oil cooler), the only difference seems to be that as well as the main inlet/outlet the V8 rad has two small (8mm?) inlets/outlets compared to the diesels' one. *So, my question is there anything stopping me using a diesel radiator with a simple T piece to accommodate the two hoses? *Yes, my 90 has lots of leaks! zoltan
I have one of the 8mm pipes just blanked off on my 110 and it has been like that for 5 years and counting. I ought to find out where the other one should go!
Landrovernuts
One pipe goes to the expansion tank and one pipe is attached to the bleed on the inlet manifold penthouse (carbs). I have converted to EFI and I have this now connected to the inlet manifold throttle heater thingy return. Yes you can join them together as done by many people including myself, not ideal but seems to work. If you do use a tee, use a brass one and not a plastic one from B&Q! Spearos
I know where I can get a decent second hand early diesel radiator for sensible money, so this is what I'll do - Tee off the one 8mm outlet into two, one for the expansion tank and the other going to the inlet manifold/carbs. Smashing. Cheers guys.
