simonr Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 The arms are 700mm long (give or take) The bend is to compensate for your suspension lift. Say you have a 50mm (2") lift, the angle is: ArcSin (50/700) = 4 degrees. OK, I know this is not strictly accurate because it does not form a right angle triangle, but the difference is small. 10 degrees is a common figure used however - to compensate for a variety of different lifts.
