Daan Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Hi, i am after the o-ring that is fitted to the 300 tdi airfilter housing. I thought it came with the filter, but it doesn't. According to the book, it shows NRC9239, but that is only the wingnut to hold the cover on (according to google) . Does anyone if the TD filter housing has the same diameter? It seems, I need to measure the o-ring and find a similar size. Anyone must have had this problem? The o-ring between the two halves of the air filter housing is not however. I did visit the Ridgeway landrover dealer for some genuine parts, and asked about the o-ring. The long and short of it is that the o-ring is not available, unless you buy a new airfilter housing. The answer to my question what they do if the o-ring needs replacing was: 'we never replace them'. It was the usual dont know/dont care approach that annoys me of these people, it makes look landrover bad, and this partmanager clearly doesn't want to excell in his job. Anyway, I got the correct O-ring from my local engineering supplies, Rapid engineering, an o-ring 4x160 is a perfect fit. Daan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
