Saving my disco

They let water in through the bottom corners of the screen where the body seams are no longer sealed up cos the sealer cracks after time letting the water in it then runs down the inner kick panel & under the carpet

Easier to see with the dash facia removed

Thanks for the pics

I finally found where mine was leaking where the wiring comes throught the bulkhead on both sides (where the inner wheel arch touches the bulkhead )

But I have to take the screen out as it cracked so will be giving it a very good check

Just keep working away at it, but one piece of advice is to check over all of the seams on the bulkhead, may be well worth a scrub with a wire brush and a liberal smear of an adhesive sealant along all the seams to give peace of mind, just from personal experience that little gem.

That's defo a story dieseldog I like a project but fire damage is a wow job messed with lots of burnt wires seams never ending

I'm gonna re-seal the whole of the inside while I got it stripped out then Shultz it all for better protection
