keithjh
Hi All, If i was to use an "A" frame to collect a LR does the vehicle on the "A" frame need to have an MOT? Regards Keith
Andy
oh gawd this old chesnut. the asnwer depends on who you ask mate. this argument has been going on for years on difflock.com. some say its a trailer so it doesnt need MOT etc, others say as an a-frame is a 'recovery method' (their opinion) then it needs MOT insurance etc etc etc i wouldnt like to say, except to mention i dont know of anyone done for a non road-legal car on an a-frame but i know of lots of people who use them. you'll probably get away with it, but if your legal or not i couldnt say. Regards Keith Yes, it will also need to be Taxed & Insured as it will have all 4 wheels on the road, only other way is put it on a transporter trailer or truck.
