Boothy
I've just rebuilt my motor and put on a full serp type front cover, problem being the oil filter sits right over the front diff, so I've bought myself a Mocal sandwich plate and will use my existing remote oil filter and 19 row fan cooled oil cooler. I've used a pair of Subaru sump plugs as blanking plugs to block where the original pipes went of to the factory cooler, but don't know which is the flow or return outlets, i.e. does the filter fill from the centre thread or the outside?? I don't want to at this stage remove a pipe and see because the engine is all new and has not turned over yet, and there other things like a new modified power steering pump to bleed up immeaditly after it starts and oh yes, the Supercharger, so I don't really want to be pratting around losing oil pressure on a first start up. Thanks guys Chris
Ash.Witty
The filter is fed from the outside and the filtered oil comes through the centre of the filter. Also get some piccys uploaded of the supercharger conversion
