I've a defender (1988) with a diahatsu tdi engine and the radiator needs replacing and I am struggling to find which landrover rad is fitted . At some point it was probably a td engine , the rad for a td looks right but is too wide and the lugs don't line up, can't get intercooler pipes past . As an oil pressure gauge is fitted I thought at some point it may have had a V8 , looking at the ESR 76 rad this measures exactly in all respect except width ,intercooler pipes again! I understand there is a ESR 79 but can't find a pics. My rad measures 625 x 425 x 50 , lug spacings are 485 (looking from driving seat) top left outlet is 90 degree bend to the right bottom left outlet is straight , expansion bottle outlet is top right . If all else fail can I just fit a 200 tdi frame and rad without the intercooler ? Any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
