kevrobbins
Has anybody any info/ experience on these, thinking about fitting one to my 8274 . My budget can not stretch to a full GP winch. Any info would be great. Thanks.
Ex Member
I'm sure they are fabulous. Do you need a crazy fast and powerful winch?
kevrobbins
Lol just quicker than the one I have.
Ex Member
You do not feel a regular 8274 is fast enough? Personally, I find it more than fast enough for recreational use. In any case, make sure you realize that in addition to the housing and motors, you will need an uprated mainshaft and cam gear unless you want it to explode. That is a lot of money unless you need the speed for competition.

kevrobbins
Doing this sort of thing is where the single motor dose struggle..
dirtyninety
They're not quite as "bolt on" as they advertise, there is a certain amount of drilling and tapping and other things to make it fit!
