need4speed
This build is fighting me all the way now. Just when i was over my mid-build blues...... Offered up the bulkhead vent handles to discover that they foul the tubes for the wiper motor spiral drive. Everything is TD5 except the dash panel that the handles mount to. The only thing i can think of is the dash panel again?? Oh and in my boxes of parts i came across this part (2nd pic). What is it for? need4speed
Will the TD5 levers fit my old style dash panel though?
Les Brock
I used Td5 levers and dash panel with early defender vent panels and everthing lined up if it helps
need4speed
Not really. I think im going to have to get the TD5 panel. It looks like the vent levers mounting holes are in a different place.
Litch
Can I suggest you have the wiper-boxes upside down and the cable-tube should actually be running along the top.
need4speed
No the TD5 wiper wheelboxes run that way. There would be no room to fit them upside down..
