Tom1809
Hi there Wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice on a sip compressor that I have to opportunity to purchase. It is a SIP 740/200 compressor that's petrol driven with a 8HP Honda engine. I'm looking to purchase it to run some air tools as well as to spray my car. Obviously it has 200litre tank and I assume the 74 means 7.40 cfm or would it be 74cfm Regards Tom
SORNagain
Neither me thinks. Looks like they have changed their numbering system: http://www.sipuk.co.uk/sip-ishp8-200-airmate-industrial-air-compressor-petrol-honda.html
CwazyWabbit
I think the 740 is the type of pump used and the 200 is obviously the tank capacity, so all the 740/200's should be a similar CFM I'd guess, there are electric and diesel as well as petrol, the diesel is still listed http://www.sipuk.co.uk/sip-02029-airmate-industrial-super-740-200dle-diesel-comp-e-start.html
Tom1809
I guess that the gentleman who's selling it is trying to pull a fast one or was rather informed. Still if it is above 15cfm then I guess I should be happy as I can spray the landy and run a air fed mask happily. Cheers
