need4speed
I bought a complete set of new genuine switches. But there seems to be 2 little bolts or screws that holds the windscreen wiper stalk (part number 8) onto the main switch that I don't have. Looking at the allbrit diagram it unusually doesn't show them. There doesn't appear to be any other way for the stalk to attach?
western
usually just swap the screws from the existing assembly. can't find the screws in 90 or 110 paper parts book either
need4speed
Yeah errrrm I don't have them anymore.... I stupidly assumed the new assembly would come with them. I should have learned by now when it comes to LR, assume nothing...
western
oh dear, Tek screws might work depending on the length you need or 2 self tapping screws, there nothing special. this one looks to have tek screws in it or similar http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-WINDSCREEN-WASH-WIPER-SWITCH-83-91-NEW-SWITCH-PRC3900-/261225566386?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cd241d0b2
