Mutley
Is there a way to remove bottom section of the (Bearmach type) snorkle with out damaging the paint work?.... it has sealant all the way round, can cut the sealant at the edge but not under the flat surface with out marking the paint work on the wing where it sits in...... any ideas??? Mutley
Ha ha lol.... As i could see NO WAY of doing it decided to just carefuly use brute force! Basicaly pulled on the down pipe and watched to see how much movement the pannel had then as i applied more force it started to come away at one side and was able to cut the sealant as i pulled. hth? Ttuck3r
You can also get a silicon removing gel from screwfix that works really well, I've used it a couple times.
