They are the connectors for a CD drive that is used for the GPS. The system fitted worked off the head unit and really only gave simple directions. I had the save system on my 2005 Freelander from new and found it so useful I bought Tomtom for my mobile phone.

Heated seats or electric seats, probably the latter if neither are connected to anything.

Heated and electric seats have a much bigger multipug with at least 10 pins possibly more because it controls front-back, up-down, tilt both ways. Heated seats are a separate connector.......Only know this because I has my seat out last week and needed to unpulg everything.
