Looking for remap files for a td5.

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are remapping our td5 defenders, want a bit more poke,

quite like the idea of a stage 2,

supposed to be more aggreasive fuelling and a mild increase in boost required.

so far we have purchased nnn ecu's and fitted larger performance intercoolers, like the allisport ones.

we have done EGR delets and have no CAT's

we have nanocom so can install the map files and code injectors.

however we need the files now,

we have the ealier EU2 or 10p engines,

so we need a map that is more suitable for the ealier engine but also has been remapped.

found an ebay seller that has them for £40 but would be nice to get some quotes and even talk to someone about whats best.

if anyone has done this before or is a distributor, we would love to hear from you.

cheers, oliver

So heres a weird one for you all, just hooked up my new nn ecu,

and as expected it drives rubbish, loads of lag and in low box its even worse, like limp mode.

but the strange thing is it brings up more faults. there is a noisy crank sensor and a coolant temp sensor.

these never came up on the old ecu, and it was running fine.

The 10p engines don't run well with the later ECU's without changing another one of the files.

In truth - if you've spent money on the truck in other places I'd suggest taking to somewhere like BAS to set up the ECU and put a proper map on it tailored to suit your engine and configure the ECU to suit the earlier engine.
