tegrey2012 Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 I have a discovery 2 td5 and I have knock/clunk on the front end when I hit a small bump that also kicks in the TC. I ha e replaced the front shocks, anti roll bar bushes, panhard rod bushes, top and bottom ball joints and hubs but still getting it. What should I check/do/replace next? Pawl12 Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Don't just replace the links,check them first. Get someone else to rock the car while you hold your hand over each of the arb link ball joints in turn. You should be able feel any with play. Have you checked that damper mounts are tight ? Another cause could be radius arm rear bushes ( at the connection to the chassis). Have someone kick or prize each front tyre hard backwards ehile you look at the bush rubber.
