  1. Hi, Not sure - try checking the wire colours with a wiring diagram to see what they should be for. Maybe for something you don't have fitted as there are redundant connections on mine. Griff
  2. Are you able to check the fuel pressure? Should be 4 bar at the FPR. Griff
  3. Purge cycle is with ign on, press accelerator fully 5 times. Engine management light will flash and run the cycle to purge air from the fuel system. Not a difficult job. How To on UP's site here http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Injector Seals.html Griff
  4. Yes there is a none return valve in the fuel filter housing. Rear outer if I remember, but please check. Does it start after doing the purge cycle? If so I suspect its the injector copper washers. Plenty of info if you search. Griff
  5. Diagram here -https://new.lrcat.com/#!/1232/36532/36627/2778 HTH, Griff
  6. On my 2004 it's 15mm. HTH, Griff
  7. I've got General Grabber AT3s on mine. M&S and snow symbol - seeing where your located. Griff
  8. You have 2 seals on the injectors. Bottom copper one will allow combustion gas into fuel and cause starting issues, Rubber O ring seal will allow diesel into oil and cause oil level to rise on dip stick. Griff
  9. Hi, I'm no expert but could it be the injector back lash needs adjusting? Hopefully the more knowlegable will be along soon. Griff
  10. Hi Simonr, Don't think there are relays under the seat on the D2. Are you thinking of the TD5 Defender? Griff
  11. Have you tried starting it after dong a purge cycle? If it does then there's air getting into the fuel system and may need the injector washers/copper o rings renewing. Griff
  12. Glad you're sorted and thanks for letting us know the result. Griff
  13. Check the small connection on the starter motor. They can come loose. Griff
  14. Hi, If the red led on the dash goes out (even though it wont start) then it's not imobilized. Are you able to check the starter motor is ok? Griff
  15. They're actually under the seat, but I mentioned this as it is a known problem and is what to look for. Griff
  16. On the D2 it's usually the plug that's come unplugged. Griff
  17. Not getting up to temperature is certainly a thermostat not working as it should but bear in mind that when really cold it does take a while. Griff
  18. Hi, Has the SLABS been programmed and set to coils. I suspect it's still on the air setting. You'll need Nanocom/ Hawkey or similar. Griff (Too far away to help)
  19. Do you have access to Nanocom etc to check the roof receiver is working? Griff
  20. When mine started to missfire when warm it turned out to be the injector loom. However, Nanocom did read a fault code. What is the noise in the first clip like an air leak? Can you check the fuel pressure by putting a gauge in place of the fule temp sender on the FPR. Should be 4 bar Griff
  21. If they're not leaking they're empty 😄 Griff
  22. If it's the engine the usual suspects are the front cam seal or rocker cover gasket at the rear. Griff
  23. Hi, Have a look for the part here. https://new.lrcat.com/#!/1231 Regards, Griff
  24. Hi, I'm no expert but I think reving it that high does seem a bit excesive. I don't feel the need to go above 3000 rpm. Griff
