Keeper96
Hi guys I have a 1989 90 with a disco 300 tdi fitted, the disco came with air con and I was wandering how difficult it would be to fit air con to my 90? Thanks Jamie
cookie64
Essentially not too hard, the hardest part will be aquireing all the relevant parts for a defender i.e condenser and interior parts
Keeper96
Thanks cookie, I'll have a look around and see what parts are like to find. At the minute it's just an idea as the tricks still not even back on the road ?
supaimpy
Condenser is the easy bit , the tricky bit is the evap, but plenty of options if your not bothered about factory look, No need to look for specfic defender parts, find an AC specialist , non a Halfrauds or Kwik Fit but a proper specialist and talk to an engineer , the hardest bit for anyone not in the trade is the hosing but check out the Kit Car Specialists as they do some reasonable kits for a reasonable budget.
