Defender2005 Posted September 1, 2016 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Hey guys, this is the first time I have used this forum. I recently purchased the mountney steering wheel and 36 spline boss. The boss fits onto the spline but does not fit all the way on as it seems to hit into the plastic box. If you need for info or pictures then I can post some more. Any help would be appreciated. Lewis Posted September 3, 2016 Share Posted September 3, 2016 I seem to remember encountering a similar issue when fitting an aftermarket wheel - it was fouling on the raised circular lip of the steering column cowl, which I just filled off flush with the rest of the cowl.
