western
If your talking about the sensor on bottom of the fuel filter in rear wheel arch, that sensor is to tell if there is water in the fuel, they are not very reliable as all the filth from the road gets thrown up & corrodes the sensor terminals/connection, try disconnecting it & cleaning the terminals back to nice clean shiney metal & do the same to end fittings on the wires, protect with vaseline & reconnect, if that doesn't work, possobly need a new sensor, it just screws in the bottom of the filter body. http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/94846/5497/sensor_water_in_fuel_td5_defender
