  8. Get it wrong yes of course I do, we can all make mistakes but its how we rectify those mikstakes that makes a difference. What I don`t do is make false promises to make a sale. Customer service is what makes a company, if you are given good service from a company you tell three or four of your friends, you get get bad service you tell everyone you can !! Its my sons 18th tomorrow I bought him an item of the internet as well with the stipulation that it was delivered by Fri, Fri came no parcel I called the company that I purchased it from, they had made a genuine mistake, not only were they very apologetic for their mistake, they promised I would receive the parcel this morning, good to their word courier arrived at ten to nine this morning, Mistake made ! mistake rectified Great customer service !! Its not rocket science. Tim
  9. Sorry to rant but it winds me up when companies are quick enough to take your hard earned money over the phone, they have the most up to date wizardary to collect your cash in seconds, but then it takes 7 days to pick an item off their shelves and put it in the post. Then when you open it: its incomplete, the actual bits you need to fit to your car are missing. Several phone calls later after leaving several messages to the answer "sorry we can`t take your call we are very busy" NOT busy getting the order right in the first place I might add. I Finally get through, I am asked "are you sure the three big blue pipes are not in the box" I`m not blind no they are not !!! "Oh we must have forgot to put them in" Doh No sh*t sherlock !! "we will post them out today you`ll have them tomorrow" No apology just you`ll get them tomorrow ? well here I am three days later and still no pipes !!!! THANKS ALLISPORT NOT TIM
  10. ^^^^^^ as above I think someone had changed the ratios either knowing what they were doing or more than likely not, then sold it on and at the time I did`nt know what to look for so was sold an item that was no good to me. So I`m just passing on the onfo.
  11. I bought a front defender 24 axle with discs, but it had 4.7 diff
  12. I would jut add that if you buy them from separate sources just check that the ratios are the same, i`ve been caght out once
  13. Sorry I did`nt make it very clear, its not round ? the exit out of the intercooler is a perfectly round, then there is the rubber pipe that fits onto that(Ihave replaced that with silicone one) but then there is a metal tube and the entrance end of that looks triangulated squashed in on three sides ?? it looks manufactured that way, but I was under the impression that the smoother the flow and the more you can get in the better. o the qestion is would I improve the performance by replacing it with a straight round piece of tube ? Thanks Tim
  14. Evening lads, I have today received my Alisport full size intercooler gonna fit it tomorrow upon stripping old one out today I noticed the metal pipe that sits between the two rubber ones that feed the turbo is a funny shape, it looks like its been squashed ? now I thought that the air flow to the turbo needs to be as big and straight as possible ? is this a designed in hape or should I change it for a straight section ? Tim
  15. I have a disc break salisbury with an ARB installed, its still attached to a tax exempt 300tdi 90 truck cab i`m selling, if i cant get the money I want I may break it as its got lots of goodies on it. Tim

  20. I screwed mine to the top of the center console armrest, I know it does`nt sound much higher but it never got wet and I did some serious wading in fords and floods and it never once let me down. I had the water well over the bonnet on many occasions. Tim
