  1. Cheers will explore the search option further, fingers crossed....
  2. Cheers Fridge Freezer So I take it I can not use the range rover r380 as a straight swap for my defender r380 then? I presumed the range rover 300 tdi will go in my 300 tdi defender but will have to swap exhaust manifold ?
  3. Hi can anyone help? Is a range rover r380 gear box the same as a defender r380? Due to the fact Range rover and discovery were basically the same apart from body style I'm thinking not and will be the same as a 300tdi discovery, Any one know for sure? Also is there any different in the engines? Many thanks

  5. Hi Can anyone tell me if there is many differences between a Tdci and a 300tdi bulkhead? I have a 300tdi and am thinking of buying a tdci bulkhead and galvanising it. Will I need to make many differences?
  6. I have an offer of a early bulkhead from a 87 110 it's in mint condition having only been on the vechile for a short time and then stored well. I would like to use it on a chassis which has been extended and converted to 6 wheels I haven't decided which engine I will use yet I would like to use a 300tdi but because of the extra weight I'm thinking I will need a V8. My question, is there a lot of difference between the bulkheads of a V8 or 300 tdi and the earlier non v8 petrols ?
  7. you always need to check a driver has insurance before letting them drive your car. If they have no insurance then you could be prosecuted for allowing an uninsured driver to be in charge of your car - whether there is an accident or not. If thier insurance policy allows them to drive another car not owned by them, and you have insurance active on the car then you're fine. If they have taken out temporary cover on the car then you're fine. If they don't have the right cover, then they simply can't test drive the car on a public road. [Eight pot is correct I found this out the hard way!
  8. I've had to cat D vehicles and found they can be difficult to sell and that ment they went for a song as well!
  9. Thanks Jason that would be great, I'm not in a rush if you don't mind, when you get time hat would be great might pick your brains when I come to fix it in if that ok
  10. Thanks for the ideas guys , It's a DW5 Jason it's from an ex BT Van it isnt the hot air type but a water one and deigned to plumb into the vehicles plumbing system to warm the engine up, it automatically turns of at set temp, but my idea is for it also to run an Auxillary heater inside of the truck as well, ideally want it out of the inside of the vehicle, little worried about carbon dioxide poisoning! Plus will be best under the bonnet, didn't think it would fit, but thanks to some above posts I now know it will
  11. Wow thats impressive, no need for the trip to my local dealership now then, Thanks again
  12. Many thanks Ralph will go for that. Where shall I put the photo?
  13. Many thanks everyone food for thought, ideally I wanted it under the bonnet so going to look at the as one of the first options I think!
  14. That's a good idea.if you have some handy, but don't go out of your way thanks
  15. Hi how can I find my paint code on my CSW 110 1994? Is there a tag somewhere with it on?
  16. Hi Ive brought an ex bt eberspacher diesel night heater, its one that plumbs into the heater system, I was just wondering where people have put them in the past? I've heard in the battery box but didn't really want to put there any ideas?
