Hi there is a 100 inch on ebay for £300 would save you a ,lot of money and time it needs finishing and i have seen several truck cabs rear tubs ect on ebay as well, depending where you are amazon 4x4 are land rover breakers and are very nice to deal with. good luck regards antony 110

I Have read the above in one of my land rover books. Ialso belive that along with the defender name, was that the 200 tdi engine was introduced. GOOD LUCK with the conversion. I guess that not having a workshop at least keeps in theme with the "fixed any where" reputation that the early land rovers had so you are keeping up the land rover spirit!

Hi this might help i found that i had a similar problem with my range rover excuse my poor termanology but here goes I found that there is bar that fits on the end of the slave push rod had worn down over the years when i repalced it with a new one i found that it was about a third longer than the worn one and this fixed the problem. regards Antony110

hi 51bigG i need the mechanism which controls the engaging of turning the winch on an of from inside the cab, to were it links on to the back of the PTO. The guy i brought it of took it of to stop his son from winching any thing he could all the time! but sadly he lost it. i also need the piece of metal that slides between the prop shaft and the housing which holds the ujs (this stops the propshaft turning and the uj from staying still)(this is just a thin piece of metal and i pressume a local enginering firm would make it up for me) thanks Antony 110

Hi folks some advice please I have a 300tdi which has gone through the special vechiles department for what i belive was the waterboard. It has a superwinch pto winch fitted which i would like a parts diagram for the whole instalation as i need a part for the drive train. Any one any idea where i can get this from and who i can order it from? Also are these better than elactric winches? advantages/disadvantages many thanks regards antony110

Hi i have removed mine recently (the wheel arches)i used a trim removal tool brought of ebay for a few pounds, was very useful and made the job very easy regards antony110

Hi chaps Many thanks for the good info the rear crossmember was made up off 5mm with a slot made in the center, i have had a look at the goldfish tds and that will work with whats been done and apparently is very good for the money will be looking at the trays on devons website, thanks for the advice regards Antony

Hi everyone. I have a 300tdi 110 which is of the road at the moment. I have had a rear crossmember built and fitted and had this made so there is a slot in it so i can install a winch, I have brought 2 new 90 fuel tanks to go under the front seats, so there will be space for a winch now where the 110 fuel tank normaly is. Does any one know what winch is the best for fitting in this area and dose any one make a tray for it? I am happy with a electric winch but it would be nice if it was the better water proof type, Any one done it, or any ideas?

hi, I had a 1986 110 csw and my local independent land rover mechanic Martin at riverside allterrain exchanged the 110 v8 engine and box for a v8 engine and automatic gear box from a classic range rover, apparently it was quite straight forward as i imagine you have a conversion plate for a v8 to nissan 3.3 i would of thought it was straight forward to. regards Antony

Hi im afraid i do not have any answers to this but whilst you are talking about theft of land Rovers A Growing trend seems to be using a hiab truck and then just picking land rovers up it very quick and overcomes initial security devices, possibly a heft chain and something solid on the over end of it!!
