  1. Aup chaps, Got a 3.5 v8 on twin su carbs in a hybrid landrover. Was out green laning when it started to splutter and miss fire (sounded like it was down on cylinders) removed dizzy cap wiped every thing down but nothing. Removed the rear cap of the facet red top fuel pump to check the little filter thats fine. In line fuel filter bit crappy (between facet and carbs) so thought it might be that but I removed the fuel pipe at the carbs and it's pumping out fine. (will change inline filter any way). When pulling off it stalls and splutters but when it fights it's way through that part it takes off and runs fine. 😕 Dash pots full of oil. Any help appreciated
  2. Evening chaps hope every one is as well has can be. Stripped rear axle tonight and on removing the hub cap that goes over the drive shaft and circlip it was filled with ep90. Just wondering from people's experience how is it getting there? My thought if oils getting out there water is getting in there! Tia
  3. I'm over the moon with it. I couldn't pick fault if I tried! His getting my front one ASAP no doubt about it!
  4. Hello chaps. I did a video but to long to upload I'm afraid. How ever, I'd just like to thank nigel barker at 4xcess for such a great service and such a great product. Here's my old locker vs my new locker! Every things like it's On steroids! 5. Finally found a place where people actually have recovery gear!
  6. Just a topic to spark some conversation. What recovery do you carry? Personally I carry: Tree linx Cagelinx Strops Recovery rope 2 snatch blocks Waffle boards Soft shackles Normal metal shackles A 8274 24v upgraded gears with extended drum 13mm rope (front) A husky 24v air spooled extended drum 11m rope (rear) Ground anchor. Put the kinetic back in the garage has I refuse to trust 90% of people's recovery points!
  7. The last sentence is a famous one Lol! But I'm hoping the same
  8. Thanks for all the help nige! It's the same axles on black piggy has Paul had nothings changed. Only thing to change Is 1.2 transfer box from ashcroft that I've had the same mods done to it. How ever I do plan on swapping this out for either a 1.4 or 1.6 I'd appreciate your opinion on the best route to take with this matter has you probably have forgot what I know about this! Regards Joe. Please see attached.
  9. I will admit I have looked at ashcroft. 2 problems None in Stock. Don't believe they do a 10 spline. I mean swapping the front axle is a a option but that it's self comes with work. Hydraulic assist steering, box section for the 1 point front linkage. Bonuses are I'll make a few quid back on the upgraded front shafts, but would aft to be spent on new upgraded 24 spline. Decisions decisions Thanks for all replies though chaps it certainly has taken me back to the drawing board
  10. When you say in many ways better couldn't go into it a bit more please Bowie, I've had problems with ashcroft. Not going to name bash because had good things from them aswell but my transfer box will go to Winchester gears next time
  11. Right the time has come to put lockers back in the old girl. Rear arb crapped it's self and front one don't hold air and is ancient! Probably one of the first arb 10 spline lockers thet did. So what would people reccomend? My enitial thought is arb again but wondered what other people would reccomend? Tia and hope every one is well!
  12. That i can! Any tips on how to explain to the better half where all the money has gone when I've done? 🍻😂
