  1. Excellent, thanks for that, I know making would`nt be a certanty, but I`d still like to give it a go if possible. Its good to see the old site is back in action again, I knew there were a couple of threads kicking around somewhere.
  2. G`day all, does anyone know for sure if this pass is open, I`m interested in doing it in winter, when there`s a bit of snow up there and no ramblers. I have been doing a bit of a search on google and there is a lot of conflicting info on wether it`s open or closed. I was under the impression that the northern end was closed, so you have to do a back track. If thats the case I`m more than happy but if the whole route is TROed then I`m going to be sh*t out of luck. Thanks in advance

  4. Well its sad to say, but I think the Ashes are going to be changing hands this year. No fault but our own, two critical dropped catches and a no ball that should have sent another batsman walking. A couple of dodgey LBWs, it certainly ai`nt going our way this time round.
  5. G`day mate, glad to you onboard.
  6. Yes mate, keeping up with all the forums can be hard work, if I`ve got time, I check out here, AURLO, sometimes ORRP, 2 work forum and a couple of other 4x4 ones if I dont have much on. I alwyas like to drop on into em and have a quick gander and leave a post or two if I have time. Outerlimits is always a good read, some interesting threads and a few very switched on people, I rarely post there, just lurk in the background. Tis a nicely sorted RR you`ve got there mate, are you still thinking of flogging it. I put an SV5000 5lt in a WB ute a few years ago, was a nice set up. Certainly pulled a bit harder than my TDI.
  7. G`day all, glad to see you all over here, thanks for adding your location, its good to know where your all from, to get a better idea of where every is likely to go bush. Its also helpful when someone is after location specific advice. Thanks again and welcome aboard.
  8. G`day mate, glad to see your still alive and well. I take it your 110 is off limits for a wee while. Yep its good to see that some of the lads from AULRO have dropped in, the more the merrier.
  9. I`d say 9cfm would be on the small side, the biggest you can afford is the way to go. Waiting for a compressor every few minutes to build up pressure is very annoying, better off getting a bigger one first off. 13-17 would be much better, some air tools really chew thru the air, die grinders etc, if your planning on using these sort of tools you want as much air as you can get.
  10. Ali, mozzies, you better start getting used to em, when you do your trip around OZ, your gunna get eaten alive in some parts.
  11. When you look at the injuries list, we really don`t have much chance. Let hope the cricket gets off to a better start today, I spose a lot hangs on how McGrath`s elbow hold up, or if he`s in or out, hopefully Tait will come out blazing, slam a few balls into em, the good thing about a new player is that they don`t know what to expect from him.
  12. Ai`nt we bold when they`re not around.
  13. Looking For Bush ? Ai`nt we all. I was a bit slow on the uptake when I looked at the name of this thread.
  14. OK all, to pay the bills I`m a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. The crowd I`m currently working for is Air Canada and I usually work out of Terminal 3 at London Heathrow, if your passing through enroute to some where, give us a yell, I can usually spare a bit of time for a cuppa. Before this crowd, I`ve worked for quite a few Aircraft maintenance organisations around the UK, Ireland and Europe. And to kick it all off, I spent 10 years in the RAAF where I did my time as an apprentice. Did my stint in Wagga, Richmond and finally Amberly, before telling em to stick their job and made the move to Europe.
  15. Bazza, good to have ya on board mate, give us a clue to who ya are, fill out some of ya details on the other threads.
  16. OK all, as the name suggests I`ve got myself a 110. It`s a 1990 200TDI ex Camel Trophy 110, that went on the 1991 event to Tanzania/Burrundi, 1992 to Guyana and then finally to the 1993 event in Sabah/Malaysia. Its had a hard life and has the scars and rust to prove it, other than that it drives like a dream, well as good as a battered 110 can. My previous toy was a 1988 V8 110, that had to go due to the fuel bill, it was a pleasure to drive, apart from it`s drinking habit. 17. G`day all, as most of you know my Misses and I are currently living in the UK. We have been over here on and off for the last 10 years. Hopefully in the not to distant future we`ll be on the move back to a warmer climate. Before that I spent the previous 25 years in central NSW, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
  18. Hiline welcome aboard mate, there`ll be a few people you know lurking here, this part of the forum is a bit slower than AULRO, but the technical section is top notch. Hopefully if we can get a few more people dropping in here it will start to kick off. Turtle, glad to see you found your way to the new forum mate, hopefully we won`t loose to many in the change over. It`s been ages since I was on the Black Stump, it used to be so slow to load so I gave up on it, but now it seems a hell of a lot quicker, I might have to start dropping in there more often again.
  19. Jim give Rouge Trooper a yell, I think he has everyone`s contact details from the old place somewhere.
  20. All the best mate, just look as it as someone has to keep the doc`s in their expensive life styles. Can`t wait to see the piccies of your new breast implants. Just watch out for Captain Morgan, he`ll probably be round for the first grope.
  21. Well that was a bit bloody close for comfort, 25 ball to go and Pointings out, with McGrath coming to the crease it was a great game to watch. Roll on the 4th test.
  22. Well the 3rd test certainly ai`nt off to the start they`d planned for, we`ll struggle to avoid the follow on the way we`re going.
  23. Looks like Lee is in doubt for the next test, the Poms are lov`en it. Des, I would`nt mean that, I always talk sh*te.
  24. Nothing mate, just insinuating that one has a standard to uphold.
