Hi guys & girls
I've looked through the archive threads and cant find anything about the wiring and switchs for heated seats in a defender everything just refers to the loom and switchs.
I have the seats with a heating element/pad in them.
I would like to use carling switches in a dash pod if possible. (I have the dash pod)
Is there anything else needed?
How do you connect it all together?
Pics would be good, pls only very simple wiring diagrams!!!!!!!!!

Need to find a TD5 owner and borrow their bonnet for 5 mins.
Its not like its a hard job as long as there are 2 people to lift the thing onto the hinges.

I,m trying to get shot of the wheel on the bonnet affair, I like the lighter part.
I,ve been told that the expanssion tank fouls a TD5 bonnet somehow! Would that be right?

Hi
I've not long ago fitted the Nas lights and they haven't been on long enough to find your troubles out yet but I will keep an eye on things and keep you updated.
However the black plastic adaptor that allows easy fitting from standard to NAS lights looks the part but me thinks its not going to be that robust in the long term as it rocks about on the retaining screws.
Anyone else found this?

Sounds daft, but flick the hazard switch a few times. Off and on etc...
If i've used my hazards and go to use the indicators sometimes they dont work as has happened to you. I just flick the hazard switch a few times and hey presto indicators are back.
Its worth a try and could save you £15 which is roughly how much a hazard switch will cost you.
Happy flicking

Hi
Has anyone on here ever fitted an allard turbo to a 300 TDI defender?
If so was it straight forward to fit? and do the gains balance out the cost?
Cheers

Hi
New to this but here goes.
How much jiggerey pokerey does it take to fit a TD5 bonnet to a 300 TDI?
I know the Hinges are the same just lift on and off and that the bonnet stay is different but I can get round that.
Anything else to worry about?
Cheers Guys
