  1. Would be worth tracing the connections from the 3 pin connector to the relevant chip to see what inputs they are connected to (not easy on 3-4 layer pcbs!!!) , then grabbing the datasheet of the relevant chip and what level they operate at. If there is a xtal, worth checking what frequency it is operating at. (and be careful of cheap meters as the buzzer could potentially blow the low voltage circuits, probably stating the obvious now!) Great work guys, keep it up !
  2. Hi guys When is the next meeting? I'd like to attend Cheers Steve
  3. Hi, the answer of the DVLA is correct, just send off the permanent export part of the V5 and give the buyer the rest of the V5. The DVLA cannot register a vehicle to someone not resident in the country (as I discovered when i exported my 110).
  4. Coca cola is what the state troopers use to remove blood stains on the motorways in the us so I guess must be pretty effective. There is some sort of citric acid based cleaner (italian brand banned from switzerland ) that's supposed to be the mutz dangles to remove stains from driveways...
  5. Got a 110 hardtop no mods, I've found lancaster very helpful but a pain to alter policies out of office hours. I pay 350 for fully comp (i'm 27). They insured it from a vin number before i was able to re-register it to the uk (was previously uk registered) so no grief on that front. I have not tried to claim yet touch wood I tried sureterm a couple of times but each time got a pushy salesman that didn't want to sent a written quote.(100's £ more for same cover as lancaster). Directline said that my 110 hardtop was a pickup and therefore wouldn't insure it
  6. No problem at all Mark, the lay-by wasn't far away ! I'm local to the area and need to use offroad my 110 a little more. Always up for some greenlanes so I'll be watching the forum for future local-ish runs. (or pm me!) Cheers
  7. I saw you guys up there, was part of the group of 5 landies that had to back up (was in the 110 hardtop).
