  1. Thanks guys, lots of very useful info there Regards Tim
  2. My Series 3 takes EP90. I have been using EP80W/90 but I was wondering about the effect of using EP70W/80. Obviously this is less viscous than the EP90, but are they othewise equivalent ie with the EP additives and general lubricating capability? It would be useful if EP70W80 can be used, especially in this winter weather. Regards Tim
  3. If they are the bearmach paras I can confirm that they take standard LR spring eye bushes, I have had to do them on mine. Regards TIM
  4. I would vote for the BiltHamber Dynax S50. I have used it and prefer it to waxoyl. As DrRod says above, it comes with the sprayer pipe ready for doing the box sections Tim
  5. I have the rocky mountain door tops on my ser 3. They are excellent and I would recommend them to anybody. Regards Tim
  6. Hi Tukko Yes you are right. You will also notice that for the first 500 miles ( 800 km ) it will feel 'stiff' intil it is all settled in. ( I had the same with the new 2.5TD in my Ser 3 ) Regards Tim
  7. Excellent thread. Earlier in the thread there was mention of using bearing fixer on the output bearing to stop the oil leaking into the transfer case. I need to do this on my ser 3 but dont want to have all the hassle of stripping down the box. So, is it possible to seal the output bearing/oil seal without dismantling the gearbox? I have a new output seal but if the problem is the bearing then just replacing the seal probably wont work. Regards Timppl
