  1. My Banana Yellow 90 is being taken down for me and I'll be bringing an old caravan, which will be towed with the transit tipper.
  2. How are we for number of entries so far JST? its all gone a bit quite. Is there a get to gether after the last event, bit of a knees-up and say Cheers.
  3. Stag weekend has been brought forward to this weekend (27 Sept) so its looking ok for next months 2 day event. As yet not had time to find out whats wrong with front drive and front 8274 winch.
  4. Are you sure, as I said Bristol City, Blackthorn and there not in to off road. Oh well if you think you fit that criteria
  5. Look at you guys Auto this Auto that, the last two seasons I been saying its the best way to go. I've got nice range rover seats V8 auto and a pair of tweed slippers all I need is a pipe. More than likely mine will be up for sale at the end of this season as I'm trying out my new project with its 300 TDi auto. Next season it will be spot the manual.
  6. The guys going to the Stag weekend are cider drinkers( Blackthorn) and Bristol city fans, off road is not there thing . As for the diff guard if I don't see you give it to Jason F. Cheers
  7. Not sure if I can make that weekend in October got a Stag weekend, trying to get them to put off the wedding till next year. Watch that space, and its not up for grabs yet but 6th of December seems OK or is that the wedding day Mmmm
  8. I've got quarter ton of Slindon in my back yard after pressure washing her on Sunday. Meeting up Friday was good, having a few beers sitting round the fire and every now and then you would hear a 30 foot tree come down with in feet of us. I really enjoyed Slindon and hopefully we can have another event there again, Stu and I only managed to pick up three punches after lunch as lost drive in front axel. Almost let one of the marshals take our card, well he was keen to take it off us as I was stuggling to get out of the woods. Glad I never cos those couple of punches made the difference. A big thank you to all marshals even the one which made me do punch 17 twice Thank you Anton, Simon and James for your for all your efforts it was well worth the 4 hour trip. PS did anyone find my diff guard.
  9. I would like to thank James and OEC, Xeng, all the marshals and anyone else that helped make the day very very entertaining, my co driver Brian was thrilled with the result but was hanging by the end of the day. If only my truck looked the same as it was in the morning because by the end of the day it was ripped apart, holes in doors and wings, wings squashed, windscreen smashed, rock sliders bent, roll cage twisted in several places, all rear lights and light gards broken, leaking radiator, broken highlift jack, broken snorkel and a puncher in the first half hour. I've got plenty of pic's of the day but they just don't show how hard this event was. It was nice to see the Bristol boys convoy to the event, and on the way home with Steve Gitting's crew. With the people at the event there was great comaraderie and that what makes this series fun. Lets hope my challenge truck will last the series, looking forward to the next.
  10. James could you put Ben Browning on the list as my co-driver, he likes to feel wanted
  11. Hi I've got a 2002, 8552 Husky winch on a heavy duty bumper which has hardly been used. I'm thinking of putting the winch on the back of my Defender as I have a Warn8274 on the front, so that means I'll have a spare front bumper.......... But then I might sell the Husky winch and bumper to buy another warn 8274 for rear of the defender, thats if I get a reasonable offer for it.
  12. I'll get Ben to down load it tomorrow as its on his phone, the quallity is good.......Lardy never even stepped back on landing,
  13. You might be right, At the moment I can only "Talk the Talk"
  14. A very entertaining day, even with all the problems that a cured (punchers, mini melt down with fire, being late more than once etc) but it was worth it through and through. Anyway at least I found all problems in one go and I'll ready for round 2 (hopefully). The rear Superwinch is being replaced with a very tidy Husky but then again I might sell them both and put something else on instead, decisions decisions Well done James and to all the guys at OEC, X-Eng and the hard working marshals So frustrating to see all those lovely placed punches and not having the means to get to them We have a 30 second film of a largish co driver running around and then jumping off a high platform onto his driver’s bonnet. Mmmmmmm great cheers by all, not to sure about Ciderman’s face.
  15. Hi James, Ben will be bitching for me on 23rd all going to plan, but Ethan is coming down and he doesn't mind helping out.
  16. The three in the transit pickup who beeped where " Fly Tipping Commercials " ie Simon, Keith and me. Its a great area for tipping and plenty of scrap to collect as pointed out by Lardy and Jason. We really enjoyed marshalling the day, and with Simon G's misses we all kept warm in Lardy's Landy
  17. Glad to hear you and the family are fine, I've got some Pic's of you standing next to your pride and joy, when we met on Saturday's challenge. Cheers
