  1. Looking to change fitted sealed unit head lights too something newer. Need part numbers for headlight holders/ glass indicator side lights And anything you think im missing Will re-use pannel finishers (BTR7850PUC) Thanks
  2. My 1988 landy just blew a main beam buld. So decided to remove and replace. Due to its age/condition this has become harder than it should. Does anyone know if I can just swap all the front lights for the latest (non sealed unit) defender head lights or do I need to make some mods? To be honest I want to change the lot as all the fittings are cracked, damaged or not sealing any more. And it would be very helpful if anyone knows the part numbers or Paddock spares codes!!!!! Thanks
  3. My TD 2.5 is on borrowed time!!!!!!! Up early this morning changing the oil in an attempt to 'stop' the smoking issue. Dont fancy doing a top end over haul any time soon So where can i find a cheap 200Tdi in the south/ south west???????????
  4. Taking the head off is a must!!! You cant take the chance that its all ok. While its off remove each valve and check for true (run the stem/shaft on a flat bench edge and see if the valve has a wobble. If so you need a new one, as it will not be air tight any more and you best take a careful eye for any damage to the head). And you might as well change the valve seals while your ordering your new head kit they only cost a few pennys each and worth the time in changing. (little tip. inlet has a sping IN and the ex. withOUT on the valve seals). Dont ditch the 200 if you must send it my way
