  1. Hi again. We still could use more folk to help with Marshalling at KOV. All Marshals will get a 'Crew@ T-shirt as memento of the event as well as a Goodie bag, lunch on Sat and Sun, free camping and entry into the Marshals raffle. If your coming already bring a friend, if your competing bring a Marshal. See you there.
  2. Hi, as you are all probably acutely aware events like these can't run without the help of an army of volunteers. The Utra 4 events, due to the nature of the event need more than there fair share of helpers. If anyone can spare some time to help set up or Marshal the event which will be held on the 8th - 10th Aug. There will be a Marshal raffle with prizes from American teams as well those competing in the UK events as well as the usual Goody bags and food on race days. Message me if you can help.
  3. Still a few places left, but lots of interest so if you want to enter get your name down quick.
  4. With the King of the Glens fast approaching and King of the valleys hot on its heels you have the chance to be up close and personal to the action. 7. Looking forward to a weekend in Wales. Just a quick shoiut for any one wanting to Marshall, everyone welcome, no experience needed, we will look after you, even give you some snacks to keep you goung. Just make yourself known on here or look me up at the event. I will be there from friday PM. There will be an official Marshalls briefing at 8.30am on Sunday morning. See you all there, Glaggs (Mark) Chief Marshall.
  8. Keep your eyes open for this truck.... or parts. Stolen in Barnsley area about 4 weeks ago. If you get wind of any bits at a price too good to be true - it probably is! Pass the word around and bolt your trucks down. Looks like there's a gang working South/West Yorks again.
  9. This idea has been discussed around the camp fire at several events. It is perhaps the next logical evolution and gets my vote and support.
  10. Recently been having problems with heater on Defender. Checked coolant today and ended up adding approx 4 ltrs of anti freeze. No obvious signs of a leak, or water in oil. Since getting the Landrover I have check level in overflow tank, always on low side but always some in there. Going to monitor problem but any ideas welcome.
