but the prob with that is he wants double beadlocks so would make it approx 11" wide with the wrong offset ??

a friend has got some 10j rims and wants to fit double beadlocks to the rims but keep the width.i have heard that they add approx 1.5" to the rim so is it possible to cut 1.5" off the rim then fit the beadlock or do they have to weld on to the lip

Does a heated screen need to be on a timer as i am thinking about fitting one but as far as I'm aware ff heated front windscreens turn themselves off after so long but rears don't I'm thinking this is because the strips in windscreens are very thin and if left on will burn out is this correct if so how do i make it switch off by itself with a mom-off switch?? I'm thinking i need some sort of timer relay or something but i haven't got a clue about auto electrics just trying to use some common sense which don't happen often

i did tell them that it is my toy and really only use it off road do i need to tell them that its not a competition vehicle and its only used for fun as im starting to think that they might think i compete in it will this make a difference ???

yep 4x4 department and i havnt got any receipts as it was all done when i got it

just spoke to my mate who phoned them today aswell and they said the same to him ??? will only replace like for like will not give a agreed value the question now is should i believe them on the fact that if my disco gets nicked all they will ask me for is a list of mods and prices and they will replace all of it ???

i have just been told by adrianflux that no insurance company will offer a agreed value on a off road vehicle is this true ??? they have offered me like 4 like on all the kit on my disco but am abit wary as i have not got any receipts they have told me i dont need them but that dont stop them changing the mind on a claim dose it. has anybody had any trouble with this ??? and for all the beedlock questions they didnt have a problem with mine (once i explained what they are first) and £1000 with agreed mileage of 3k seams steep as last year i paid the same for 12k
