  1. As well as the seals there's the plastic sheet beneath the door card , it's probably torn to shreds or even missing letting drafts blow through the door around the door handle and top of the door trim.
  2. In my case the water was coming from cracks at the top corner in the rubber windscreen surround. The water must've been running down the windscreen surround and leaking out behind the dash to finally emerge just above my right foot. Some black silicon sealant sorted it out.
  3. I also have a 2005 110 XS which, as far as I can tell, has never had anti-roll bars fitted and a check of Microcat (LR parts catalogue) with my VIN doesn't show them as one of the build options. I don't believe they were fitted as standard to the 110 XS because they had HD suspension fitted.
  4. Just reinsured through Sureterm for £424, but have had to remove one seat from my 110SW to bring it down to 8 seats. My usual insurance broker would touch it at all once I mentioned it had an A-bar on the front. NFU was £765 with Adrian Flux over £1000, all prices are fully comp. Age 32, full no claims (>10years), 1 no fault accident in 2007, but am in Northern Ireland. As far as I know there is no limit on personal injury claims in NI so vehicles with a large number of seats get hit with sky-high insurance.
  5. The heated seats in my XS have detachable plugs for the seat base, though the wires are long enough that the base can be removed and put into the footwell in order to get access without having to unplug them. One thing to watch for is making sure the cables don't get trapped and pinched underneath the seat bases when they're put back on.
  6. Aren't those seats from a 2007? Pretty sure the front seats will fit, but the 2nd row use a different mechanism to lock to the floor so you would need those fixings. Maybe take a peek around a new 110 at your local dealer to see if the 2nd row will fit...
  7. I have a 2005 110 XS and the cause of the creaking on the driver's door turned out to be a crack in the door frame, the whole door was replaced under warranty.
  8. The jack that came with my 2005 110 XS is a bottle jack with a two stage lift, AFIAK it's the original. Strange that LR supplied different jacks for two vehicles that are more or less the same and from the same year, or maybe it's not so surprising that LR just bunged in whatever jack was in the parts bucket that day.
  9. My 2005 110 XS also doesn't have them, or a self-leveller at the rear. I was surprised since I thought one or the other was standard across County spec. At least now I can be confident that it wasn't the previous owner who got rid of them. The parts for the roll bars seem to be pretty cheap, less than £100 for both axles.
