  1. Well as some of you will remember its a Superwinch 525 winch, hydraulic driven. Well its never have the power to pull the 110 out. I have got it down to a drive motor problem. So wheres the best place to get a new one? Also the oil looks odd (could be water in it?) I plan to change the oil asap before I get a new motor or at the same time. but its been tested and dose the needed 2500psi. But could the poor oil cause the drive motor not to drive right? Paul
  2. Well they have gone again, only 3 weeks again so ordering some tomorrow. Paul
  3. Well I will have to get some as well then. Sritpart ones only lasted 3 weeks in my 110 and the ones in now have been in 3 weeks I also need to do the Padhan rod bushes soon as well. Paul
  4. Tried to book a stand for CRAG last week and was told they are full up:( but if you know anyone at the mag let me know and put a good word in for us Paul
  5. L and R means where the air comes out of the compressor. Right or Left hand side. Paul
  6. I would not, I have met Keith (who runs Simply 4x4 a number of times) and I have meet him out with large groups, up to 17 4x4s. If you every want to go laneing in mid-north wales just give me a shout and I will lead you for FREE. Paul
  7. Thanks for all your help. I will start looking for a compressor next week. Paul
  8. Thanks Jim. I know what to look for now, the bigger the better:). I will have to do the local scrap yards next weekend to see what I can fine. Still not if its best to go for the york or the Sanden one. Will see what I can find. Also can I fill the compressor with grease. As I have some non-melting grease here? Use to use it in a place I use to work on smelt pots. Paul
  9. As I added its getting what the PSI and CMF output of the pumps thats hard to find. As when I do fit it I only want to do it once. Making the brakets is not a problem. Once made I will get them all made out of stainless steel ( I know someone ) An a tank is ok as I still know people who still work at the place I use to work at that make tanks. So a custom tank for where I want to fit it would not be a problem. But as I say still looking at for now so any input is fine by me Paul
  10. Thanks for the info Diff. I am still looking into it and doing a lot of reading. For now its just for the tyres, but maybe more. As I have said I have looked for 12V electric pumps, but it means spending a lot. Do you have any pictures of your fitted? Paul Edit to add, One of the problems I do find is working out/finding out what the CFM and working PSI of the pumps is.
  11. I have also looked at electric pumps, the one off of a Merc van is a good one but its a 24v Paul
  12. I missed a York on ebay the other day, went for £22 !!! Paul
  13. I will have to start looking at old RR then Just I have never seen one on a RR that I have ever seen. I will have a good read of that/your site as well. Thanks. Paul
  14. The ones I have seen, I am looking for, are not the same. The pump is a more up right design. looks like this http://www.kilbyenterprises.com/york-manual/pdf/4.pdf Paul
  15. AFAIK its not the same. The York has its own oil sump, where the rrc aircon unit uses the coolant to lube the pump. But I could be wrong. Paul
  16. Anyone? I want one that takes a V-belt as I have the pully fitted on my 200tdi. What cars were they fitted to? Paul
  17. I only found out about it last night, thats why its an asap one. But yes the date is right. Paul

  19. Paul Shropshire County Council has received an application to add a restricted byway to the definitive map. At the present time the route is not recorded either on the definitive map or the highways map. It is not an unclassified road. The user evidence that has been submitted indicates that the route should be recorded as a restricted byway. The historical evidence also indicates that the route is a public carriageway i.e. a restricted byway. If you have any more information on the route in question I would be pleased to receive it. I believe the track has been used by vehicles by permission for the occassional rally. It does not appear that it has been used regularly by vehicular traffic as of right. We are not seeking to downgrade a route at all. It appears that several people have mistakenly assumed that the route is already recorded as a county highway. I shall be investigating the issue as a priority as it is contentious locally. Any information would be gratefully received. Lucy Lucy McFarlane Map Review Officer Countryside Access Team
