  1. ok here goes are the engine mounts in the same place? i know the v8 90 engine mounts are set further forward than a 200tdi 90. also will the disco's intercooler and rad fit thanks Ian
  2. they don't have to be in line I'd put it on the car and if you don't get a vibration just leave it alone Ian
  3. made me own for a cost of £100
  4. yip the auto will fit coz i did mine (3.5 v8, 4speed auto and defender transfer box) works a treat but you'll have to move the chassis engine mounts forward what i did was 1, cut mounts off the chassis 2, fit the engine transmission and transferbox in the chassis and bolt the transmission mounts in 3, fit the engine mounts to the engine lower into position and weld the mounts back onto the chassis job done even the props lined up and boltted straight on. i'm running 35-12.50X15s and with the 90 transfer box and the auto box it runs a treat

  7. Thanks Dave I thought about using the ready made air intakes but with having a 4ltr V8 i wanted at least 3" tube to help it breath I also wanted them in stainless steel so when she finely gets a respray (matt black) it will look the mutts nuts its good to be a little different as it gets you noticed Ian
  8. heres my home made snorkels drivers side for the engine passenger side for heater total cost for both £100
  9. sorry to say but unless read your post wrong your only selecting hi and low range not engaging the diff, to engage the center diff you need to move the leaver to the left and disengage move it back to the right. to check the diff is working just jack up 1 front wheel (hand brake on) with the diff disengaged (leaver to the the right) the wheel shoud spin, "on road use" engage the diff (leaver to the left and the warning light should come on) the wheel shouldn't spin "off road only and only then when you nead it" Ian
