The owners handbook states that only engine oil meeting certain Ford spec should be used when servicing. There is no choice. Unfortunately the LR dealer (just one here) insists on using Mobil 1 5w-40. This oil meets other Ford specs.....Aparently the only way to get this cleared is to write to the LR customer service. I would not call since I probably won´t understand the English on the phone. The question: does anybody knows if the usually reply? thanks M

Hello: New in this forum. The local LR dealer told me that new 110" Defenders have a different type of spring coils in the rear (not the same the Td5 had). Anybody knows the part number or spring rate? Mines are: front left: white/white, front right: yellow/yellow, rear left: white and rear right:green. thanks mch

Hello: I have a brand new 110" with the very same details. The roof seals cracks because the rear plate is too wide compared with the front panel. I glued some thick rubber to seal the "hole". Anyway, every Defender I have seen has these holes. I do not know what is the idea. regards mch
