I was under the impression that most of the warn winches had the same size splines except for the HS and HSi that have a much coarser spline? I could be wrong though!

I just cut mine and slid a peice of thick walled tube over it. Jacked the vehicle so it was perfectly level and welded it in place. It was either that or buy a Scrapiron one. (well I am in thier club you know)

It has certainly wetted my appetite for another challenge event. May have to get some better waffles as broke one of mine on the concrete slab, and I will definatly need to get atleast one locker for my beastie.

Just a thought. My hybrid has a 2" lift and handled like a pig. I cut and lengthened the panard rod and it was like a new motor. It only need to be about 1/8th inch longer but it worked.

"rant mode on" Does this really look like a Scrapiron jumper. "Rant mode off" (I have had it for about two years and it's still in good condition so I will let you make your own minds up) Ha ha ha. Only kidding. It was a great day and was well pleased with the result considering it was my first winch event type thing. If in doubt, give it a clout. The bigger the doubt, the bigger the clout.

I to would like to say what a great time I had. Not a bad result for my first challenge type thing. (Can't wait to see just how many points i was behind Paul.) Not to much damage either. Just a front wing and a dented bar at the back. Did anyone get any piccys of the punch on the concrete slab being done????
