rekab69
Hi Guys, I'm looking to buy a car in Sweden, would anyone know if it's ok to pull it home to the UK on a dolly..? Cheers, db.
miketomcat
If I remember correctly here in the UK a vehicle being towed on a dolly has to be road legal ie broken down. If none road legal it has to be on a trailer or truck ie not touching the road. Certainly this was the case 25 years ago when I was looking to move a project mini. western
only legal way is a flatbed or proper car transporter trailer or truck, dolly for recovery only as the towed vehicle has to be taxed, mot, insured as part of it is still on the road.
