j8drm
Hi, my head is spinning trying to work out wheel/tyre/offset combos to fit my defender 90 td5 (53). Currently running boost alloys 16/7 or 7.5 (NOT 100%) on a 235/85/16, not sure of offset. Im looking at modular 16 inch either 7/8 width, haven't decided yet. these have an offset of plus 8 and i was looking at 235/85/16 tyres. My overall aim is to fill the arches out more than the wheels fitted but I'm just confusing myself. Any advice is appreciated.
Scotts90
Standard boosts are et35 if memory serves, going to an et8 will give you 27mm of movement towards the outer arch. My boosts on 265/75 have a 30mm spacer giving the equivalent of an et5 (the spacer effectively moves the mounting face to almost the centre of the wheel) ET0 and ET10 are quite common offsets in aftermarket modulars/alloys. landroversforever
This is quite a useful comparison tool: https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
