woop Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Hi all, just wondering if anyone here has replaced an entire bulkhead on a Disco1 pre-update? At the moment, my bulkhead is completely bare and Im contemplating replacing the rusty, holed existing one complete rather than repairing and at the same time, installing the newer Softdash. Can I swap in a Disco 2 Bulkhead as a replacement? Blanco Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 I have never attempted anything like it, but I think the upper dash will fit either, but your choice will affect things like the pedal box and brakes, you will end up having to alter some stuff to get the later interior to fit. woop Posted May 22, 2019 Author Share Posted May 22, 2019 Well I ended up getting the entire front including inner guards and radiator support from a Disco 2 that was about to be crushed. Cut through the trans tunnel and floor and lifted the whole lot off in one go. I'll have it all blasted and painted while its off. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
