Algerian110
I have a 1989 Land rover defender 110 that has a 2.5 NA diesel The guy that i bought it from didnt put a vacuum pump in it , i got a used one for a nice price The problem is that i installed the pump and it seems like its not turning , checked that the gear inside is rotating nicely with the camshaft driven but the pump is not turning i think there is a pin that drives the pump shaft with the gear on the block , and thats missing here ? If so , any dimensions for it ? so i can make it Note : i live in algeria , sadly i cant order any parts from the uk as customs holds everything
Snagger
It’s hard to see in the photo, but there should be a pin across the bore of the skew gear, so yes, it appears that part is faulty.

Sigi_H
if it is to difficult to get it, take an electric vacuum pump, like used in many cars on the scrapyard. Works perfect
