y copeland
I need to change my top radiator hose due to the screw breaking when doing a coolant water change and the hole is now too big for the new screw. The current hose is the original part and completely rubber am i best to use one like this or the alternative that is on the market that has a hard plastic area the bleed screw fits into. like ebay item 300760397247
Blanco
I favour the genuine variety, it's an awful thing but a new one works reasonably well. I had a rigid piece let into the original hose for a while but it was never satisfactory. A new genuine part should do you pretty well for say 10 years. bear
If you do a search you'll find an aluminium replacement bleed screw. Fitted one to mine a while back.
