dangerous doug
Hi all, I’ve just bought an ex mod vehicle with no paper work. It’s a 1974 series and has never been registered. I do not have the cast document as the vehicle had changed hands several times and never been registered. Have I shot myself in the foot or can I get around this? I have purchased the info from rlc archive which shows the history of the vehicle but no bill Of sale. As it’s a 74 I would really like to retain an age appropriate plate….ie a black and silver one but have been told this may be difficult now….any input would be appreciated
Eightpot
You need a 'Date in Service' letter from the army DSA. Do a google search on form 654 - if you apply to DSA you should be able to get the piece of paper dvla need to register with an age related plate.
