Adam001
Hi, I'm making some mods to my defender to do a bit more travelling about. one thing we've identified is the need/want of an external side storage box above the tub. Not a gullwing hatch, an actual external box. Like this... https://www.devon4x4.com/static/workshop/workshop-projects/defender-90-creature-comforts-build/side-lockers/ Other than the link, anyone know of any manufacturers of something like that? Cheers
Peaklander
I have one at the rear wheel arch on my 110. I will try to find a link. It's very handy and quite spacious. There's a similar one available for the front of the tub, as long as you don't have second row seats, as then the footwell uses the space. Adam001
Yeah seen lots of those, currently planning on locating a water tank there otherwise i'd opt for that too. I'm meaning over the window area.

Peaklander
It’s a good job you didn’t ask for the link I promised as my nas has been hacked by ransomware and all files encrypted. 1
JeffR
Heres a couple of links: https://www.nakatanenga.de/en/informative-and-practical/maintenance-and-care-products/5701/side-locker-for-land-rover-defender-stainless-steel-black-powder-coated-on-the-back-left https://terrafirma4x4.com/stainless-steel-in-front-of-rear-wheel-side-locker-110-hard-top-pick-up.html I fitted the ones in front of wheel arch about 20 years ago (damn am I that old) which I sourced from Foleys. Useful bits of kit
