jennydefender90
Evening all, come to replace my bearing for the top pin of my swivel joint. I’ve noticed that it had a thinner edge on one side and unfortunately only noticed this on the new one not the retired one when I took it out, does anyone know which way it goes? Front or back many thanks!
hurbie
the manual state's : "press-in the Railko bush housing ensuring the machined flat is towards the back of the housing, when the housing is fitted to the axle , the flat faces inboard "
landroversforever
It’s there to clear the swivel ball seal, so needs to face the axle flange.
