STUBBY
I Would like a bit more oomph out of my 91 200 tdi, is there a method that can yield a modest increase without breaking the bank, can the boost pressure be raised at all or is this liimted by other factors on the engine. BogMonster
Its generally reckoned that you can increase the 12psi boost of the 200, to the same 15psi as a 300 runs at, without problems. I'd think twice about pushing a 16 year old engine above that though... You can also do the usual fuelling tweaks to the pump but same comments apply. lynall
Do the pump tweaks first as it make a massive difference, i did mine on my old 200 and when i sold it, it had done 150k the last 50k of these tuned to hell, pump wound up, higher boost, large intercooler and alsorts of twoddle to eak out the last bit of performance.
